[MEDICINE]. Document Signed, by Aubry le Riche and Jehan Le Lievre, physicians to the Duc d'Orléans, one page, 4 1/4 by 12 1/2 inches, August 1, 1404. A receipt for two hundred livres tournois to be issued by the treasurer general in payment for medical services. The incumbent Duc d'Orléans was Louis of France, son of King Charles V and brother of the mad King Charles VI. The treasurer general mentioned in this document was Jehan Poulain, who continued in the service of Charles d'Orléans, prior to the appointment of Pierre Renier. Very fine condition.
