OPERA - TIBBETT

[OPERA]. Lawrence Tibbett. American baritone; with the Metropolitan Opera from 1923 to 1949; created the roles of Eadgar in Taylor’s The King’s Henchman and Brutus Jones in Gruenberg’s The Emperor Jones. Three-quarter length photograph of the baritone, by Carlo Edwards of New York, signed and inscribed in the light portion of his costume, To Edward Harris from Lawrence Tibbett. The photograph measures 9 3/4 by 7 3/4 inches, and is in fine condition.
